Strawberry Double Crust Pie

Strawberry Double Crust Pie
1 package of Pillsbury crust (contains 2)
1 carton of fresh strawberries, sliced
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/4 up to 1/2 cup sour cream (not light)
dash of salt
sprinkling sugar
Method:
Unroll one crust and lay it in your pie plate.  Add sliced strawberries.  In a bowl mix sugar, flour. salt, and sour cream.  ( I start with a 1/4 cup and add enough to make your mixture like a paste, but spreadable.) Spread the flour mixture on top of your sliced strawberries with a butter knife or off-set spatula.  Place your second crust on top and seal the edges together by crimping with your finger or a fork.  Sprinkle sugar over the top of the crust and use a knife to make small slits in the crust to release the steam.
Put your pie in the oven at 425 for 10 minutes.  Then, turn the temp down to 350 and bake for 45 minutes.  Carefully remove the pie and let cool.
**after trying this I like my pie thicker so I use a little less sour cream than you may like**

4 months of Hank

This picture was taken 5-5-2011 at 5:45 in the am!!  This boy was ready to get his happy day started.  Normally he sleeps while I'm getting dressed and I wake him up to eat, get him dressed, and he has a little play time before time to go.  This day it was play, play, play.  I'm sure he crashed a little while later at Nonni's.  Hank has started laughing like crazy.  He loves laughing at Matt and me any chance we give him.
