Good Appt.

Got to go to the doc yesterday and see him for all of 3 minutes before he was called to do a delivery. Not a problem though. We got to hear the heartbeat and then he shoved a pamphlet at me and had to go! If I were the woman in labor I wouldn't want him to take any longer than he had to! My next appt. is October 27th and then 2 weeks later on Nov. 11 we will do the gender ultrasound. Only 6 more weeks until I'm half way to the end!
Found out last night I'll have an incentive to lose the baby weight.....a July wedding in which I'll be wearing a strapless dress!!! I'm having a tiny anxiety attack as I write this. The good thing is is that I know it can be done. The interesting part will be finding a quiet spot at the wedding/reception to nurse the new baby and keeping the baby quiet during the wedding. Wait, that's what Daddys are for! They could spend the whole wedding on the porch of the church! Oh the joys of motherhood. Thank God someone invented nursing pads. You new mothers know exactly what I'm saying!!

doc appt.

Get to go to the doctor today for a check up. I'll get measured and get to hear the heartbeat which will be nice...if the little sucker slows down enough. The best part about going to the doc is going out to eat afterwards. Tonight it's Haiku Sushi where I get shrimp tempura rolls with cream cheese. I just look longingly at Matt's spicy salmon mania with nice buttery, raw salmon on top of yummy sticky rice covered in spicy mayo. As Rachel Ray would say "Yum-O". I haven't even had breakfast and am talking about sushi. 3 weeks ago just the thought would make me barf. I'm still on my nausea meds just not every day. It is getting better. Latest craving update: tomatoes! S

I was tagged!

*Write 7 strange characteristics about yourself. They interest us all!* Tag 6 other people at the end of your Post.* Visit everyone that you have tagged and leave a comment on their blog to let them know that they have been tagged.

1. I like a clean house, but don't particularly like to clean and it's ok if dishes pile up because I'll get around to it...or Matt will!

2.I'm not going to change the nursery for the new baby. What will they care? And it's less work on me.

3. Speaking of the nursery, themes freak me out. I cannot handle a Noah's Ark or Pooh or Classic Pooh or Carebears or Vintage (just to name a few) themed anything. It's not for me. If you have Peter Rabbit bunnies all over your kids' rooms more power to you.

4. I can't drink coffee now (vomit provoking) but I still have 2 almost full bottles of Nestle creamer in my fridge. I can't wait until it tastes good again. The Italian Sweet cream flavor that just came out is killing me. I've had it before and it is truly Heavenly.

5.I HATE SHOPPING!

6.I like Fritos dipped in Ketchup.

7. In the last 2 weeks I've had 5 nightmares that include my murder or me killing someone else. These hormones are killing me!!

There you go taggers.

IKE!

Thanks to Mr. Hurricane Ike we are all home today! It's nice to be sick at home and not at school. Ah, the little things.....I hope you've made your preparations if you're in the way of this storm. We got extra food and are charging up flashlights. Matt got to come home at noon today. So Charlie gets extra Daddy time. I'm not much fun to play with these days because of my nausea. It totally bites. The good thing is that the medicine I'm on keeps me from barfing every 5 minutes. If you don't want to get pregnant bring your own water to the Elementary school. It's going to be a banner year for new babies!
Have a good weekend and be safe. :()

Here He/She is!

The right side is a big ole head and then you can see the body in the center and the profile of a leg and foot at the far left. This baby was all over the place yesterday. Would barely slow down for its heart check. We would get a good sound and then "whoosh" it was gone. We are in the 11th week and due the 3rd week in March. I go back 9/29. I have about 9 weeks until the gender ultrasound. I don't have a feeling either way. I do know this: We don't have ANY names! Help!

Going to the Doctor

Today we are going to our 10 week visit to check heartbeat and growth of this little dude. It's been a heck of a day. Waking up dry heaving pretty much means the day ain't going to be good. I couldn't even take my don't throw up medicine. I do believe today has been the worst thus far. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. I sure hope so. I think a lot of it has to do with sinus problems. I'll be taking a Benadryl tonight to hopefully remedy the situation with my head. Hope you are not throwing up today~!
