Pray for Cely!! and twin girls!!!

Cely was put in the hospital to help keep her 22 week old twin girls in the oven!! She'll probably be there until they are delivered...which hopefully will be more weeks down the road. Being the gal she is she's probably in great spirits. Every time you look at a clock today send out a prayer. I'm going to try to do that. Maybe it can be a habit! These precious babies have got to keep baking!

Good Doc. Appt.

Yesterday we took a family trip to see Dr. Gayle for my 30 week visit and Aubrey is growing well and mommy only gained a pound! I almost made the nurse weigh me again, but decided she knew what she was doing. I'm now moving on to every 2 week visits. Just about 3 of those and then I'll be going once/week. The doctor said,"Things are going to start picking up." I told him, "THEY ALREADY ARE!" Got a pamphlet to tell me what labor is....like I'm not going to know?! This time around I can already imagine the killer contractions!! But, when the contractions come I'll be so ready to see the baby. I told Matt that this time around he's going to have to get in my face and remind me to breathe. He says he did that the last time....I can barely remember it!
I'm having Braxton Hicks when I walk a long distance....OR eat a lot! Now, that's funny!

Fitzwilly's Bar and Grill

If you're in College Station Saturday 1/24 stop by Fitzwilly's on North Gate. Matt will be playing with Greg Schroeder... along with Matt Clark as well! Should be a fine time. I haven't heard live music in ages! I'm sure the baby will appreciate all the noise.

It's the cute rain forest one.

Somebody(s) can really pray!

The post 1 below is what I'm writing about! I talked with Jennifer last night and at their first appt. this week the doc said there were cysts and they would have to schedule a surgery to remove them and then see about starting IVF drugs later. Yesterday, they go to the doc to schedule surgery and he takes another look at her ultrasound and decides that one cyst is very small and one is almost gone!

SO, she will finish out this month taking pills to further shrink what's left of the cysts and then in February she will start the IVF drugs. We are all so excited that the time has finally come for them to move forward with baby making.

Thank you for your continued prayers and I'll keep updating.

A request for prayer warriors!

My brother in law Jeff and his wife Jennifer are headed to the fertility doc today for some information: Does Jennifer still have cysts that will need surgery to remove OR can they start the IVF drug protocol. Of course, I'm hoping for the latter! They cannot wait to have children and were saddened to learn that both of them have repro difficulties. To be so compatible in every department except reproduction is not cool. BUT, with lots of prayer and capable doctors I believe these two can get what they hope for one day....a baby....or maybe twins. So, send a few prayers their way if you don't mind. They could use them!

Belly Belly Belly

Here's me at 30 weeks with Aubrey. She's been very active today and the 2 glasses of sweet tea I just had are probably going to make matters worse! I couldn't get enough of the stuff. Approximately 10 more weeks to go! This is flying by and some days she can't get here quick enough and other days I'd like to press the pause button and breathe. I scheduled a photo session in late February to capture the family of 3 before Aubrey makes her debut. I'm also going to have some belly pics taken as well. Most days I really don't like looking at my large body in front of the mirror, but one day I'll look back and wish for these days. :())

One more photo!

The lady front and center is my grandmother, Doda. She turned 86 the day we took this picture. Even though she doesn't know who any of us are anymore she always comments on how pretty "the baby" is....that's baby Charlie.

**Notice my very skinny sister**My belly and Dad's are in a tight race!

Happy Anniversary!

Today marks 8 years of marriage for Matt and me! We started dating in 1995, had a brief hiatus in 1996 and then have been together ever since.

Matt got me the best gift ever....A JACK LA LANE POWER JUICER. Now that's better than diamonds, right? I've wanted one for years and now I can make my own juices for Charlie and me and the baby of course. Apple and carrot are great! The all veggie ones I've got to work on. The most appetizing veggie juice is a spicy tomato recipe I'm ready to try. I've tried a cucumber/carrot combo and it was down right nasty. I'll keep you posted if I find any great juice recipes. Go get a juicer. It's really cool!

Little sister

Here is the side profile of Aubrey. She is now 28 weeks old. This was taken 12/30. She's growing according to schedule and will make her appearance around 3/26. Of course, I can't wait to meet her but knowing what it takes to birth a kid and all...I'm a tad bit apprehensive. The whole experience should be better this time around since I know what to expect if it goes like normal that is. I'm going to be more prepared for nurses who don't talk and tell me what's about to happen. I will not labor with the blood pressure cuff going off at 15 minute intervals. I will simply remove it and put it on Matt's arm. That will be funny. I'm taking good snacks to eat and lots of chocolate. I will be having Spicy Salmon Mania from Haiku Sushi brought to me for my first meal after delivery. Can't wait for that!
Our next appt. is 1/19 and then I'll go every two weeks. 32,34,36, and then once a week until she comes.

The Naked Drummer

No, it's not Matt! Nonnie (Sharon) got Charlie this drum set for Christmas and after his bath he ran into the living room and had a seat. He plays the drums every day...even though we're down to one stick.
